Samurai Jeans is a modern denim label established in 1998 based in Osaka， Japan. Samurai Jeanss products are introduced Japanese elements into american classic clothing making. This product is made especially for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. Body pattern is designed and inspired by a traditional American workwear (vintage work shirts)， but this plaid flannel shirt is outfitted with the original details of Samurai Jeans brand in a contemporary approach. With the inspiration from classic work shirts， this checked button up shirt has been re-designed for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Samurai Jeans. Made of 100% cotton mediumweight plaid pattern heather flannel fabric interwoven yarns of mixed colors. It is perfect to wear alone or as a base layer with a jacket(outerwear). This shirt is not intended to be worn tucked-in. This shirt is new original creations by Samurai Jeans. Gender : Men. Fit : This product is Japan size (Asian size)， which is about 1-2 sizes smaller than USA and EU standard size. The size actually tend to run one to two sizes smaller than most US/EU size， because this shirt originated in Japan. Fabric : 100% Cotton mediumweight flannel fabric with plaid pattern in the weave of the threads. The fabric of this shirt is woven in yarn made from twisting fibers of three different colors. Therefore this shirt has a heather， neppy and slubbed texture with a salt and pepper mottled effect which similar in texture to herringbone tweed fabrics. Non-stretch， mediumweight flannel withl brushed on the face of the fabric. It is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. And the shirt is washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed， minimal shrinkage. The more you wear， the more fabric will continue to get softer and cozier. Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket， Front button closure) with vertical button holes. Buttons are 2-holes indigo dyed corozo buttons with engraved diamond shape design. Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance. The left collar stand has a 1930s style chin-strap. (a neck strap， a chin strap， a throat tab， a throat latch) with a concealed button under the right collar that fastens across the neck. Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with contrast gusset， and triple twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge， a classic detail found on authentic work shirts. Pocket : This classically-styled shirt features asymmetric twin chest pockets with button closure. The right side pocket has a pencil slot. The left side pocket is a house shaped sweat proof pocket. This unique pocket design features a front and back sided pouch sewn on the shirt body as opposed to a conventional patch pocket sewn directly on the shirt body. This pocket is constructed to create the pouch for preventing the contents of the pocket from contacting the shirt body directly， hence the lack of stitching on the pockets bottom. And the upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength. Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points. Back of the Shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines. Style : Mens Casual Fashion / Vintage workwear (American vintage working man) style. Pattern Type : Plaid Check. Cuffs Type : Single button cuffs with sleeve placket (cuff slit).
